In this workshop students will weave a medium reed basket in a traditional Polish tatza basket pattern. Usually made from willow, we will be using hand-dyed reed in a small diameter for a lovely basket suitable for display and use with bread. The teacher will contact students for their preferred dominant color and accent color.

Materials supplied: Pattern, dyed round reed
Tools needed: Basket shears (or very strong scissors), 2 expired membership or gift cards or similar stiff plastic, 6 spring clamps or clothes pins, pen
It is helpful for students to have a mobile phone in addition to a computer or tablet for the class, so they can show the teacher their work
