Prerequisites: For Lid some all round reed experience is helpful.
Learn techniques to achieve this adorable cathead shaped Bean Pot. You will learn lots of shaping tips and how to weave an inside lip to rest your woven lid. The body of basket is traditional start/stop weaving ending with a black rim laced with waxed linen in a V technique. On the lid you will weave with all round reed using black spokes that trim the natural weaving with a black braided border. Black cording is used to weave the handle knot. Mine is stained with Driftwood but also beautiful left natural.
Materials supplied: All natural and dyed reed to complete design along with beaded embellishment.
Tools needed: Spoke weight, shears, straight flat weave rite tool, packer, pointed awl, tape measure.
